And unlike previous school openings, this year is particularly special because of the easing in and resumption of face-to-face classes! <img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83c\udf89\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t2b\/2\/16\/1f389.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HyFlex, the learning modality of Assumption College, combines hybrid and flexible class delivery, integrating in-class instruction and online synchronous and asynchronous sessions, serving diverse students with varying learning needs. Apart from classes, Assumption College has also introduced HyFlex school events and activities. Composed of \u201cRoomies\u201d or those attending in-person, and \u201cZoomies\u201d or those attending virtually via Zoom, the community can choose to join such events on campus or online, also as part of our efforts for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/hashtag\/saferspace?__eep__=6&amp;__cft__[0]=AZWqi66SG7tm9EsYY-Xfxz98IMFh1aj4nWEWNa2XIkosfjk7IFfwSCHI8eqVH2Wjx0to0Jo9tbMUak3VUZx5izz0FDjysuA1cXowWO4Z1bLsEHnLSVAzGkEC9FlXCUX-Ih9tZLnqAzNJT1YW07JtrUMjgS0nxY18Kvh93h7yvkD1QKwmB_8oR5nYp_44VQT_sMA&amp;__tn__=*NK-R\">#SaferSpace<\/a>. <img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83d\ude4b\u200d\u2640\ufe0f\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t89\/2\/16\/1f64b_200d_2640.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udcbb\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/tf9\/2\/16\/1f469_200d_1f4bb.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pilot HyFlex event was the recently-concluded Blue Is Best, a signature Assumptionista tradition to kick off the school year. And what a kickoff it was! With the theme \u201cCelebrating HERstory and Empowering Women Through Sharing the Gift of Grace and Grit\u201d, Blue Is Best 2022 was packed with different performances and activities that centered on Filipino culture, camaraderie, sportsmanship, and women empowerment. The week-long event focused on different org recruitment activities, while the main launch featured a day of invigorating performances by our talented students and from the different associations and organizations, faculty, and staff. Special guest Mikee Cojuanco Jaworski, a sports official, model, former actress and television host, and International Olympic Committee Executive Board member, delivered the opening remarks. Traditions include an oath-taking ceremony for the new set of student leaders; the chants \u201cA-SS-U-MP-TION LET&#8217;S GO!\u201d and \u201dBLUE-IS-BEST!\u201d, and the symbolic torch-lighting ceremony. Ultimately, Blue Is Best 2022 highlighted the introduction and welcoming of the new College Dean, Dr. Ma. Margarita M. Ladrido. In her speech, she imparts these words, \u201cBeing the best&#8230; It\u2019s inside of you. It\u2019s your mindset. You have to keep giving your best.\u201d to the College, leaving them awe-inspired and revitalised this special school year! <img loading=\"lazy\" height=\"16\" width=\"16\" alt=\"\u2728\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/t75\/2\/16\/2728.png\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To commemorate this milestone, the Assumption Student Council, together with the Admissions and Marketing office, relaunched the Assumption College Instagram account (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/acsanloofficial\/?fbclid=IwAR3FkWQ3Qq0uXL_nGVEFexTnCAPcNAQK2s9Pl8hTuxeSeEdB4SZdqS_K9RQ\" target=\"_blank\">https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/acsanloofficial\/<\/a>) through an Instagram Reels contest!
